Price Signing

Ashley Price, a standout on the Lady Gobblers basketball squad, made it official and signed her Letter of Intent to play at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Price plans to study nursing and received a basketball scholarship.
“I’m very excited,” said Price as she signed her letter of intent on Wednesday, Nov. 10.
UMHB was Price’s first choice. “I told my parents, even before basketball was in the picture, that UMHB had a really good nursing program, so that was a school of choice, even without sports included.”
Lady Gobbler coach, Amy Crain speaks about Price, “I’m ecstatic. I’m happy for her. It’s emotional because, when you see a kid who you’ve coached for a long while, achieve her goals–she’s wanted to play at the next level for a long time.
