The “Bid It To Win It” Virtual Auction of the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum began Thursday, March 3, and will run through 6 p.m. March 18.

“The CTHM initiated the virtual auction a year ago and with popularity the event is again being featured online this year,” stated committee chair member Kathy Frels. The proceeds of this auction will go towards the new expansion project of the museum, exclusive art shows, and educational and outreach programs such as the annual Cowboy Camp.

The CTHM deeply appreciates and acknowledges all the individuals and businesses that have generously donated to this year’s event. This auction would not be possible without all the gifts from the dedicated patrons that believe in the mission of the CTHM, which is preserving the ranching and western heritage of South Central Texas.

Items that will be for sale include an antler candelabrum from Italy, a designer John Hardy bracelet, Sante Fe handcrafted dinnerware, guns, a Rockport trip, a Fly fishing excursion, a Proctor Green House stay, a French dinner for 12 at Cuero countryside home, and many more.

The website to access bidding is www.ChisholmTrailMuseum.org or at one.bidpal.net/tasteofthetrail2022/welcome. For those that would like to just make a donation to the museum, this also may be accessed on the website.

This year’s chairs for the auction are Joe Adams, Debra Baros, Kathy Frels, and Cindi Griffin.
