The May 7 election has positions of Mayor, Districts 2 and 3 Council members on the ballot this year.
Running for Mayor are Sara Post Meyer, incumbent, and Randy Saenz, former mayor. District 2 draws Terry Glover, incumbent, Doyle Cruz, former councilmember, and Sadie Saenz. District 3 Tony Allen, councilman, is unopposed.
Applications for a vote-by-mail ballot must be submitted before April 26, and April 7 is the last day to register to vote for the May 7 election.
Early voting will be April 25-29 and May 2-3. On April 25-26, voting will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On April 27-29 and May 2-3, voting will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Voting will take place at the DeWitt County Annex at 115 North Gonzales, Suite A, Cuero.
Election day date is Saturday, May 7.
