Yorktown Elementery School students Addilyn Ibrom, Piper Peyton, and Kennedy Robertson are getting a head start on their broadcasting careers. The three girls are creating a news show under the supervision of their teacher, Tiffany Rogers. They are doing the show, which is called KPA News, for their Gifted and Talented project on broadcasting. What does KPA stand for? “Kennedy, Piper, Addilyn.” the girls explained, pointing to the letters on their shirts. When complimented on the shirts, the girls said, “Our homeroom teacher made them for us. She’s amazing.”

When asked how they started, the girls said, “We saw it on the GT list and we read what it was about and we thought it would be kind of cool to do it. It would be a cool experience.”
