The Cuero Gobbler football team is used to having a successful season, but this one had a few unique circumstances. Largely, it was the first season for new Athletic Director and Head Coach Jerod Fikac, who was hired in March of 2022. The start of any new coach’s tenure is full of questions, and Fikac answered them about as strongly as possible finishing with a 13-2 overall record on the season…
