Monday, Oct. 17 was the first annual Installation Banquet for the CHS Anchor Club. Friends and family came together to celebrate the students and officers of the organization.

Anchor is a student organization focused on service, friendship, and leadership. Anchor is open to any and all students. Each month, Anchor Club completes various service projects in our community. Anchor is the student wing of the Pilot Club, and we often partner with Pilot on functions and service projects. Later this year, Anchors will be making tie blankets and donating them to Alzcare of DeWitt County and attending the state-level convention in San Marcos to work with other Anchors from across Texas on one grand service project. This is the CHS Anchor Club’s 27th year since being chartered.
