The Cuero ISD Education Foundation hosted its annual 'Concert for Classrooms' on Nov. 9, at the Cuero ISD Performing Arts Center, raising crucial funds to support local educators and students.
This year's event held special significance as the foundation paid tribute to Debra Baros, a beloved community educator whose legacy of service continues to inspire. The foundation established the Debra Baros Scholarship Fund, which will empower students to pursue their academic dreams in her memory. A special display featuring one of Baros' iconic hats will be prominently exhibited at the Cuero ISD Administration Building, with donor names commemoratively displayed alongside the tribute.
Proceeds from the concert will directly benefit Cuero ISD through grants for innovative educational resources, projects, and programs beyond traditional school funding. Additionally, funds will support the growth of the foundation's endowment and operational expenses.
