McBride named to November ballot

This past week, the DeWitt County Republican Party voted to place Interim Justice of the Peace Pct 2 Blanca McBride as the party candidate on the November ballot. McBride was chosen earlier in the year to fulfill the remainder of the term left vacant with the passing of Judge Bill Robinson.
“The vote of confidence from the elected officials and the party leaders is truly humbling,” McBride said. “No one can fill the shoes of Judge Robinson, but he left a legacy of hard work and integrity in his work. I promise to follow in his footsteps and honor his dedicato the citizens of Precinct 2.”
