Mother-daughter tea party

The new Miss Cuero court along with Little Mister Cuero hosted a Sunday Spectacular event––all for a good cause. This ultimate Part-Tea and social gathering took place at the English-German School and brought out over 60 guests along with the royal court and their moms who catered, decorated galore and planned the benefit for Pet Adoptions of Cuero. Gorgeous tea party dishes, china teapots and table favors along with a complete afternoon agenda was uniquely created by the Cuero Chamber of Commerce’s Angie Cuellar and Miss Cuero Pageant Director Tiffani Hilburn.  Besides enjoying the food, tea and sumptuous desserts, the daughter guests played “Pass the Teapot” and “Tea Pot Freeze” for fun prizes.

Stealing the show at the party were two Pet Adoptions “guests” – a tiny chi-weenie named Harley and a baby Siamese kitten named Jasmine. All proceeds of the party were donated to Pet Adoptions of Cuero and on top of that, guests brought additional donations of pet toys, treats and pet supplies.

On hand and honored by this amazing show of support were PAOC’s officers Linda Anzaldua and Nelda Huber shown with the 2022-2023 Miss Cuero court. Each daughter also received a custom PAOC TEE-shirt donated by a sponsor along with a commemorative golden teaspoon. Thanks to all the lovely moms, grandmas and aunts who came out and made this an event to remember for all the lovely young ladies and the nonprofit pet rescue and shelter.
