New Chamber Executive Director selected

Mother, youth ministry leader, former vocational nurse, and coach to Ruby Begonia are just a few titles that Angie Cuellar has. In 2019, she will add Executive Director for the Cuero Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture and Visitor’s Bureau to the list. Cuellar stated that her friends and family urged her to apply for the position with the remarks that she was already serving her community in the same fashion. From participating in the Texas Rural Leadership Program, to remaining active in Lifeway Baptist Church, where her husband, Ernesto, is a Deacon, having a hand in Cuero ISD organizations and volunteering for Project Graduation, Cuellar has already served Cuero for 20 years since moving here from Washington. “I have a service heart,” stated Angie. When asked about future goals for the Chamber of Commerce, Cuellar would like to focus on getting to know members of the Chamber personally, along with attracting more visitors to Cuero.
