With just nine weeks into the school year Nordheim FFA has been busy having another successful year. To start the year off Pedro Villanueva, Jackson Tam, and Connly Metting to third place at the district range contest and took eighth place at the area contest.
Bryce Tessmann won second place at the state fair of Texas in light weight AOC (all other colors) steers. This allowed him to secure a sale spot. Congratulations to Bryce on his hard work as he gets ready for the Nordheim Show and major show season.
Nordheim FFA members attend leadership training. The freshman traveled to Robstown to meet other freshmen from all over south Texas and learn about leadership opportunities available through the FFA. Then the chapter officers traveled to Tilden for the district leadership lab. Here FFA members learned about different leadership skills to bring back to the Nordheim chapter, and were able to interact with FFA members from the district.
