Earlier this year, Wells Fargo made the decision to close their Nordheim branch in August of this year. Wells Fargo and their predecessors have operated in Nordheim since 1910.

“This was not an easy decision or one that we take lightly,” Tymika Morrison said, senior communications consultant for Wells Fargo.

“We continually evaluate our branch network, and make adjustments based on customer use, market factors, economic trends and competitor actions. This process leads to both expansion and closures. In the case of our Nordheim branch, we’ve seen a decrease in customer traffic over the last few years.” Morrison and Wells Fargo made it clear that customers’ accounts would not be impacted the by closure.

“No matter where or how they choose to bank with Wells Fargo, there will be no change in how their accounts are handled,” Morrison stated.
