On Saturday, February 3, Yorktown received a deluge of rain from thunderstorms passing through overnight and in the early morning hours. Various sources reported anywhere from 2.5 inches to 5 inches. Once again, the creek flowed out of its banks, but fortunately, not to the extent as it did last year.
