Yorktown junior Tyler Respondek finished third in the 300-meter hurdles at the Region IV-2A Track and Field Meet on April 29 at Texas A&M-Kingsville’s Javelina Stadium.
Respondek crossed the finish line in 41.08 seconds to take the bronze medal.
Refugio’s Chai Whitmire won the event in 40.24, and Junction’s Aidan Caldwell was second in 40.66.
