The annual Western Days Miss Yorktown pageant kicked off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, with Mayor Baker welcoming everyone and introducing the emcees of the night, Gary Moses and Jason Burmeister. Gary Moses then introduced Ms. World Tourism 2022, Pat Silver, who asked the contestants their questions and gave out the awards.

First, the contestants came to the stage and answered a question drawn from a fishbowl, then showed off their formal wear or western wear to the judges. The judges of the evening were Melissa Garcia, Robin Cadle, Angela Traux, and Connie Tofel.

In the Mini Miss Yorktown Division, Hadlee Blaschke and Kambree Norrell competed, with Most Photogenic, Best Formal, and Mini Miss Yorktown Grand Duchess going to Kambree Norrell. Hadlee Blaschke won Miss Congeniality and Mini Miss Yorktown.

Case Franke, Noah Moreno, and Landon Smolik competed in Mini Mr. Yorktown, and Noah Moreno won Most Photogenic, Best Dressed, and Mini Mister Yorktown. Case Franke won Mr. Congeniality and Mini Mister Yorktown Grand Duke, and Landon Smolik won Mini Mister Yorktown Duke.
