Slithering snakes at Yorktown Public Library

The Yorktown Public Library kicked off the Summer Reading Program with a presentation from Danny Conner with Reptile Adventures on June 5.

Parents and students were able to touch and hold Juanita the Reticulated Python, Apollo the Albino Burmese Python, and Spartacus the Alligator Snapping Turtle as well as learn interesting facts about a variety of different reptiles.

The Summer Reading Program is made possible due to the support of several benefactors, most notably ConocoPhillips.

Mark your calendars to join us next Wednesday, June 12 at 4 p.m. for Dinosaur George.
