First Responders and Healthcare Workers everywhere have had a tough couple of years. To honor and benefit those, locally, who continue to put their lives on the line every day, the Texas Hero Fest is scheduled to take place Saturday Sept. 25, at Cuero City Park. Running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event--the first of many to come-- will feature free food for all local first responders, healthcare workers, and their families; as well as a car show, and more. Admission is free, however, food will cost $10 for the general public. All money raised will go back into the Texas Hero Fest to assist those injured in the line of duty and their families if they need assistance. A memorial will be held at the end of the day’s events, to honor all first responders and healthcare workers lost in the line of duty and due to COVID-19.
