Three local departments fight fire

A structure fire at 213 S. Esplanade was called in just after 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31. The vacant building was the old Goebel Woodwork cabinet shop. The business was relocated out on FM 236 several years ago. Due to the size and construction of the building Yorktown VFD and Yoakum VFD were called to assist with the fire.
