Frälein’s Boutique and Home Decor, one of the many shops lining Yorktown’s main street, has expanded into the space next door to their current location. Fräulein’s will now offer men’s merchandise on one side of the store, which will be called Mann Höhle, roughly translating to man cave. The other half of the store will still offer women’s items, and a connecting door will be in between the two sides.

“I was waiting on the Lord for direction,” Heather Menn, owner of Fräulein’s stated. “He opened the door, so I felt like the timing was just perfect. My husband and I felt there is a need for merchandise geared toward men.

“It offers men’s clothing, hats, caps and accessories. Mann Höhle also focuses on merchandise for fun outdoor activities. Fishing rods and shirts for the entire family, grill sets/seasonings, wind chimes and pocketknives are a few items. I am always looking for new items to bring to the store and I often ask my customers for feedback.”

A room in the back will also have do-it-yourself painting items available.

“Basically, you pick out your favorite board and paint colors, just be creative and relax. Yorktown needs some fun things to do, so I asked Nicole Naranjo to help with this project. She has made some wonderful etched boards for my customers to paint and take home with them.” Painting is offered during business hours, though private parties can be scheduled during non-business hours as well.
