Yorktown Independent School District (YISD) 2022 STAAR and EOC results display year-over-year improved passing rates for 17 of 20 standardized assessments administered.

Yorktown Elementary students demonstrated academic gains with passing rate improvements across the board on all seven STAAR tests given to classes 3rd Grade through 5th Grade relative to 2021 results.

Although Yorktown Elementary Wildcats displayed positive trending scores compared to the year prior, passing rates fell below Region 3 averages on five of seven assessments.

“This year’s theme is Mission: Possible. Our year may face challenges, but working together as a team, our continued success is possible,” wrote Yorktown Elementary Principal Laura Patek in a message to Wildcat families.
