Young minds learn and grow through partnership program at Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club of DeWitt County held the ribbon cutting for the new STEM Center on July 14.

Annemarie Leslie-Mees, unit director, explained about the partnership between the Club, the Cal Ripken St. Foundation, and Devon Energy.

Shannon Johnson, senior community relations specialist for Devon, and Michael Zappe, superintendent for Devon, also spoke, as did Dr. Micah Dyer, superintendent of Cuero ISD, Christina Rehkop, director of community relations, Sara Post-Meyer, Mayor of Cuero, and Stephanie Green, senior assistant director of programs with the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation.
