Yorktown students donate to Cuero pet organizations

Body
The bright yellow Yorktown school bus pulled up to Pet Adoptions of Cuero last week and 23 elementary students had packed the bus with donations of food, pet treats, supplies, cleaning items and necessary shelter items that they collected during their community service drive. Led by Ms. Whitten, this energetic student council team came to visit the shelter, learn of its daily operations and see the many homeless pets that are waiting for a second chance. The group jumped right in to pet, stroke, play ball, and toss toys to the canines and felines who loved this much needed attention. This was a win-win morning for all the orphan pets. Linda Anzaldua, PAOC President shared some pet adoption tips with the group to consider in the future so that every family that decides to adopt will make for happy pets and even happier pet parents.
