The Cuero Tree Board held a ceremony on April 28 to name an oak tree at 301 E. French Street in honor of JD Bramlette and Merle Rose Bramlette.

Each morning when I get up and start stirring around one of the first things I try to do is catch up on the news of the country. Cuero Regional Hospital (CRH) recently participated with Citizen’s Medical Center in a STEMI drill. STEMI stands for ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction, otherwise known as a heart attack with a partially or completely blocked coronary artery.

The Cuero Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture hosted the Ag Business Luncheon at the Anne Friar Homemaking Building on April 26. Lunch was catered by BK Custom Catering and door prizes as well as dessert were sponsored by ThriveFuel.

Cuero will be sending three individuals and one relay team to the UIL State Track and Field Championships on May 11 at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin.
