Hurricane Harvey was not only the storm of the decade for the United States, but it may very well be the strongest storm to hit DeWitt County on record.
While extensive progress has been made on the number of outages from Hurricane Harvey, restoration efforts continue today for the members of the Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC).
The latest report from the City of Cuero states that DeWitt County Judge Daryl Fowler has issued a mandatory evacuation for parts of the city of Cuero and the Guadalupe River Basin.
