Three Nordheim athletes headed to state track meet

Nordheim senior Braylon Williams took home the gold medal in the 200-meter dash at the 1A Regional track meet this Saturday. He has earned an automatic bid to State, and will have a lane with his name on it. He finished the race with a time of 23.29. Williams holds the 200-meter dash school record at Nordheim High School (22.87) set earlier this season.

Nordheim senior Emagen Styra places first in the 1A Regional girls shot put with a throw of 38’-5”. Emagen broke her own Nordheim High School record with that throw. She has earned a trip to the State meet in Austin on May 12-14.

Nordheim senior Danielle Wilson placed third in discus at the 1A Regional track meet this past Saturday with a throw of 111’-4”.  After earning the wild card, Danielle will be making her second consecutive appearance at the State meet.
