  Terry Lamprecht

Terry Lamprecht, 70, of Yorktown passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022.

He was born Aug. 29, 1951 in Cuero to Joyce Ideus Lamprecht and the late Wilfred Lamprecht.

Terry served many rolls in the Yorktown Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years, including Fire Chief and was actively serving as Assistant Fire Chief.  He worked for Elder Oil Tools, Baker Oil Tools and Howco spanning 35 years.

He is survived by his wife Valda Lamprecht, mother Joyce Lamprecht, daughter Amy Lamprecht, son Kevin (Shawna) Lamprecht, grandchildren Kaydynce and Skyland Lamprecht, Kyle (Kaitlynn) Hranicky, Shyanne (Raeley) DeBord, and Kynli Hranicky (Parker Goebel). He is also survived by great grandchildren Daegyn DeBord, Brakkyn DeBord and Kelbi Goebel, sisters Sherri (Terry) Hoefling, Holly Lamprecht and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Wilfred Lamprecht.

Visitation 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022 with Rosary at 6 p.m. at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Corey Brysch, Ted Dugie, Sheldon Lassmann, Parker Goebel, Kyle Hranicky, Raeley DeBord, Hector Arguellez and Billy Fischer. Honorary pallbearers Yorktown Fire Department.
