Eula Mae Mathis

Eula Mae Mathis entered rest on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born February 22, 1949, in Cuero, TX to the late James and Willie Thomas Blackwell. Eula was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church and truly a #1 Gobbler fan; she was also a member of the Cuero Housing Authority Board.

Eula leaves to mourn her sons Wayne Mathis (Amy), Dedric Mathis, and Christ Mathis, her daughter Lynette Scott Brazzeal, her sister Lytrice Blackwell, her niece Kendall Blackwell Dorsey, her grandchildren Oscar Brazzeal, Chadwick Mathis, Karsyn Mathis, Christopher Mathis, and Trent Haynes, and her great grandchildren Emonie Cooper, Penny Haynes, Taryn Andreson, and Azariah Brazzeal.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Rex Mathis, and her granddaughter Parish Brazzeal.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Cuero High School, with Rev.
