Melvin Ray Borgfeld was born on April 15, 1939, in Weesatche, TX, to his parents, Ruben and Elorene Borgfeld. He went to be with our Lord on April 28, 2025, in San Antonio, TX, surrounded by his family at the age of 86 years old. Melvin grew up in Yorktown, TX on a farm with his family, which taught him hard work and dedication. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1958. He enjoyed being on his ranch in Blanco, TX, barbecuing, motorcycles and cars, taking road trips, being at the beach, tubing on the river and spending quality time with his family.
