ESMERALDA G. (LEAL) P

Esmeralda G. (Leal) Padron, 88 of Yorktown, Texas, passed away Monday November 17, 2025. She was passionate, warm and kind. She dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. She was very devoted to her family, always putting family first. She was very thriving and would not hesitate to help those in need. Her passion was cooking and spent most of her life working as a cook in numerous restaurants and making her favorite dishes at home for the family.

She was the daughter of the late Willie Garza and Ofelia Gomez Garza. She was born in Yorktown on Monday October 11, 1937.

Her beautiful life would forever be cherished in the lives of her children; Oscar (Susie) Garza, Hope Vasquez, Augustine Leal Jr., Pete Leal; grandchildren, Oscar (Emily) Garza, Jeremy (Veronica) Garza, Casey Vasquez, Augustine Leal III, Joshua (LeAnn) Leal, Dillon Garza Leal, Chelsea Leal, Giselle Leal, Twins – (Zaylie and Zariya) Leal. Numerous great grandchildren; Sister Rosa Garza; brother, Juan Rey Garza. Esmeralda was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Guadalupe Almaguer, Gilbert Garza, Willie Garza; son in law, Javier Vasquez.

Esmeralda will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00am Saturday December 27, 2025, at San Luis Catholic Church in Yorktown, Texas.
