Andres Gonzales Sr., beloved husband, father, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026.

Andres was born February 4, 1932, in Cottonpatch, DeWitt County to Antonio and Angelita Gonzales. He was married to Mary Gonzales for 64 wonderful years and had two sons, Andres Jr. and Antonio R. Gonzales.

Throughout his years, he worked for a few construction companies. Most notable for Trinity and Williams Brothers Construction Companies for over 50 years and made a lot of good friends.

Andres was preceded in death by his parents; son, Antonio R. Gonzales; brothers, Alfredo, Antonio, Aristeo; sisters, Adelfa Santos and Areli Rossett. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, and his son, Andres Gonzales Jr. He also has many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends that will truly miss him.

Visitation will be held at Finch Funeral Chapel – Yorktown from 5-8pm Friday, March 20, 2026, with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Masswillbe11:00am Saturday, March 21,2026, at the San Luis Catholic Church with Father Scott Hill officiating. Interment to follow services at the San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
