Susan Tarazon

Susan Tarazon

Susan Tarazon, beloved mother, wife, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on April 2, 2026. She was born on August 21, 1957, in McAllen, Texas, to Beverley and Russell Hudeck. Susan lived a life defined by strength, compassion, and a spirit that was uniquely her own. She was known for her sharp sense of humor, her stubborn determination, and a heart that was always ready to help anyone in need. Whether it was offering advice, lending a hand, or simply making someone laugh at just the right moment, Susan had a way of making people feel cared for and understood. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Jonathan 'Ross' Nigh and Molly Croft, and took immense pride in the lives they built. Her love for them was constant and unwavering, and it showed in every sacrifice she made and every moment she shared with them. In March of 2017, Susan married the love of her life, Louis Tarazon. Though their time together was far too short, their bond was deep and meaningful. Louis preceded her in death in September of 2017, and it brings comfort to know they are now reunited. Susan had a deep love for animals, especially her horses and dogs, who brought her immense happiness throughout her life. She built a strong and admirable career working in the oilfield, where her work ethic and resilience earned the respect of many. She was also an active and cherished member of her community in Cuero, Texas. Known for her willingness to show up for others no matter the circumstance, Susan left a lasting impression on those around her through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Susan will be remembered for her resilience, her humor, her stubborn strength, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Jonathan 'Ross' Nigh and Molly Croft, along with many extended family members and dear friends. We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Yoakum, Texas. Susan was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We ask you to join us as we come together to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate the love, kindness, and strength she gave to so many. Your prayers, presence, and support mean more to our family than words can express.
