Alton Wayne Hardt

Alton Wayne Hardt, 74 of Cuero, passed away March 3, 2024, in Victoria, Texas. He was born September 1, 1949, to the late Raymond and Rosie Logeman Hardt in Cuero, Texas. He was a retired System Operator with AEP. Alton is a Vietnam Veteran and honorably served in the U.S. Army. He married Debra Kay Nesloney on November 21, 1971, in Cuero, Texas. They had been married 51 years before her death in January 2023.

He is survived by his son, Michael Wayne Hardt; sister, Eileen Barth; brother, Donald Hardt; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Alton was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debra Kay Hardt; daughter, Sharon Ann Hardt.

Visitation with the family was from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Friday, March 15, 2024, at Finch Funeral Chapel in Yorktown. Funeral services was at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 16, 2024, also at Finch Funeral Chapel in Yorktown. Interment followed at the Nordheim Cemetery in Nordheim, Texas.
