Celia R. Flores, 87 formerly of Cuero, Texas, passed away peacefully of natural causes with her family by her side on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at her granddaughter’s home in Killeen, Texas.
Celia was born into this world on March 5, 1932, in Los Ebanos, Texas, to Narziso Ramirez and Alcadia (De Los Santos). She attended school in Los Ebanos. She was a Dietary Aide at the Cuero Community Hospital until her retirement in 1997.
Celia enjoyed sewing, attending church services, and loved being around friends and family.
She was predeceased by her parents; daughters, Sylvia Aldrighetti, and Aramandina Flores Celia is survived by her son-in-law Roy Aldrighetti grandchildren Laura Bair (Walter), Priscilla Page (Keith), Vicki Aldrighetti-Mata (Daniel), Yvonne Baty, Robbie Flores, and Randy Flores.
Celia had great-grandchildren Dakota, Kaleb, Jacob Avery, Johnny, Julia, and Emily Sylvia, who loved her immensely.
Celia always welcomed friends and family to the home she built in Cuero 66 years ago. Celia was loved beyond words and will be greatly missed by many.
There are no services currently.
A celebration of life, led by Pastor David Maldonado, will proceed on Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at Victory Family Church, 101 Dahlman Cuero, Texas 77954.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Victory Family Church in honor of Celia.
