Connie Jean Buesing, 77, of Nordheim, Texas, went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2023.

Connie and her twin brother, Ronnie, were born on June 7, 1946, to Bertha and Erwin Gisler in Karnes County, Texas. She grew up with 8 siblings and a multitude of cousins. She graduated from Kennedy High School in 1964. As she raised her family, she also held many jobs, including owning and running a medical transcription service.

In 1979, Connie met Wayne Buesing in Runge, Texas. Connie and Wayne’s marriage created a wonderful, blended family that included 7 children, 22 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

In 2018, Connie retired from H&R Block in Karnes City and spent her time enjoying her family and friends, working at St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Nordheim Fire Department for many years. She was often found playing cards or Bunco, laughing her beautiful laugh. Her favorite pastime throughout her life was pranking and scaring her family and friends.

Connie was predeceased by her parents; mother-in-law, Hertha Forsyth; sisters, Pansey Doreck, and Gayleia Hahn; brothers, Richard Gisler, Erwin C. Gisler, Ronnie D. Gisler, and Jerry Gisler; son-inlaw, Jacob Smith. She is survived by her loving husband Wayne; daughters, Connie Sue Ryan (Micheal), Jennifer J. Jones (Steven), Sharon E. Garcia, Diana D. Ramberansingh (Nigel), and Lynda K. Cerulli (Buck); sons, Ralph E. Hines Jr. (Tabitha), and Ray E. Hines (Crystal); sister, Janet M. Rossen (Curtis); brother, John G. Gisler (Carman); sister- in-laws, Kathy Gisler, Alfreda Gisler, and Nancy Sowell; grandchildren, Joseph Garcia, MadelineE.Garcia,Macey Hines, Hayden Ryan, Jacob Brijalba, Grace Ramberansingh, Samantha McGarity-Hines, Hunter McGarity-Hines, Wyatt Hicks, Tinsley Rose Payne, Lauren Gates, Sarah Euler, Desiray Hines, Justin W. Hines, Brooklynn Carter, Rebekah Carter, Lilly Hines, Trevor Smith, Jesse Smith, Jacob Jones, Cody Jones, and EmmaRay Jones; 20 + 1 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services were held January 4, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Finch Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Mollenkopf officiating. Interment followed at the Runge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Nordheim Fire Department, P O Box 5, Nordheim, TX 78141 or St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nordheim, P O Box 188, Nordheim, TX 78141, two organizations Connie loved and supported for years.
