Cynthia Hoegemeyer Strait

Cynthia Hoegemeyer Strait, 71, of Yorktown, TX passed away Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023. She was born in Yorktown on March 13, 1952 to Leon and Beatrice Wieland Hoegemeyer. Cynthia was a devoted nurse for over 35 years.

She is survived by her son Michael Albrecht, grandsons Jonathan Albrecht, Justin Albrecht and step-son Kevin (Julie Gallegos) Strait and granddaughter Alyssa Strait.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Strait and parents.

Pallbearers are Jonathan Albrecht, Justin Albrecht, Keyen Davis, Joe Price, Gerald Rossett, Anthony Whittington, John Leal and Cody Davis. Honorary pallbearers Errol John Deitz, Kevin Strait, Evan Krause and John Metting.

Visitation will be 9 am Friday, December 1, 2023 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials can be given to Crown Hospice or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
