Cynthia Santa Cruz-Saldaña

Cynthia Santa Cruz-Saldaña, 53, of Cuero returned home to our Lord January 13, 2024 after a long battle with kidney disease. Cynthia was born on August 9, 1970 in Banning, CA. She graduated from Montclair High School in Ontario, CA. After moving to Cuero, Cynthia became Cuero’s local tax lady. She was a tax agent for over twenty years. She met Carlos Saldaña and together they grew an amazing family.

Cynthia is celebrating the Lord in heaven with her grandmothers, Armida Santa Cruz and Helen Stenoff; aunts, Cathy Santa Cruz and Katy Crickon; uncle, Arthur Santa Cruz and Fatherin- Law, Juan Saldaña.

Cynthia is celebrated in life by her husband of twenty-nine years, Carlos Saldaña; her mother, Cathy (Fernando) Cisneros; her father, Thomas Santa Cruz; her children, Erica DeLosSantos, Daniel (Risa) DeLosSantos, Angela (Chito Varela) DeLosSantos, Jessica (Ray) Garza, Alejandro DeLosSantos, Richard Rubio and Mia (Brad Perez) Gamez; grandchildren, Christian, Lillyana and Imannuel DeLosSantos, Liam Pyeatt, Isaac, Makai and Creed Varela, Prince Santa Cruz, McKayla, McKenzie, Ray Jr., Jamie, Kristian, Nyla and Jay Garza, Lynixx Perez, Ellisia and Daisy Santa Cruz; nieces and nephews, Jesse Gamez III, Avelena Gamez, Elias Cisneros; aunts & uncles, Lola (James) Hernandez, Lorraine Santa Cruz, Becky Santa Cruz, Larry (Toni) Santa Cruz and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, 1:00 PM at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM with Earl and Mary Lewis officiating.
