Dora Maria Villarreal of San Antonio, Texas, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away on July 24,2023, at the age of 90. Her departure left a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Dora was born on April 27, 1933, in Cuero, Texas, the cherished daughter of Filiberto Garcia and Consuelo Robles Garcia. She grew up in Cuero and graduated from Cuero High School. She went on to become a Registered Nurse and retired from the University Hospital in San Antonio. After her retirement, she devoted much of her time volunteering her services at the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Celestino Reyes Villarreal, her parents; her sister, Ester De Los Santos; and her brother, Filiberto Garcia Jr. She is survived by her sons, Marco Villarreal, Carlos Villarreal, Daniel Villarreal, and his wife, Ruth; grandchildren Samuel and Sara; brother Roberto Garcia and his wife Luz; sisters, Celia Moreno, ita Garcia, and her husband Raul Garcia; and sister-in-law Sylvia Bazan Garcia. Cousins, nieces and nephews all of whom were very dear to her.

Visitation will be held at Castle Ridge Mortuary, 8008 W. Military Drive on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 4 pm until 8pm, with a rosary at 6pm. On Wedneday, August 15, 2023, a final viewing at Castle Ridge Mortuary from 9 am to 10:30am. Funeral Services will be held at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church, 7990 W. Military Drive with a Mass at 11 am. A burial ceremony will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1 pm at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd.

Her memory will live forever in th hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
