Faye Manning Duckett, 94, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024. She was born July 29, 1929 in Cuero to C. A. Manning and Mary Lou Coppedge. She married C.L. Duckett on November 5, 1955 in Cuero. She enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling, watching Jeopardy and playing bridge. She worked as a substitute teacher for thirty five years. She loved her family, her church, wine and cats. She volunteered countless hours at the C.A.M.A.L. House and judged chili all around Texas and supported Cuero Turkeyfest. She was an Elder and Deacon at First Presbyterian Women.

She is survived by her niece in life, daughter in heart, Leslie Voelkel (Paul Campos); son, Brett Duckett; sisters, Dot Crisp, Peggy Koranek and Cathy Voelkel; brother, Robby Coppedge (Sandy); Grandchildren, Lorren Cason (Craig), Kristen Bryan (Layne), Jordan Duckett (Evie Pooley) and PJ John (Meagan Sanchez); great-grandchildren, Landon Duckett, Alyssa Keely Bryan, Jaelyn Stangenwald, Ainsley Bryan and Paisley John.

She was preceded in death by her father, C. A. Manning; mother, Mary Lou Coppedge; beloved step-father, Bud Coppedge; husband, C.L. Duckett; son, Corey Duckett; sister, Connie Holdgraf and grandchild, Devon Duckett.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024, 4-6 PM at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, March 11, 2024, 10:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Kevin Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include PJ John, Lane Bryan, Craig Cason, Landon Duckett, Jordan Duckett and Paul Campos.

Honorary Pallbearers include Leslie Voelkel, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contribution may be made to The C.A.M.A.L. House.
