YOAKUM: Frank Barron, 71, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2021. He was born May 7, 1950 in Cuero to Frank Maldonado and Mary Barron. He was adopted and raised by his great-grandparents Faustina and Jose Barron who instilled much
love and loyalty of good family values in him.
He was the eldest child of a blended family and had 28 siblings.
Frank was a truck driver all his life.
He never minded hard work and alwayslooked forward to coming home to his wife, his girls, a good supper and a comfortable home.
He appreciated all the “little things” in life that he was blessed with.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Janie Barron of Yoakum and two
daughters, Katherine Appelt and husband Jared, and Laura Barron all of Yoakum; one granddaughter, Lorelai Appelt; and 16 brothers and 12 sisters and extended family; many friends.
Preceded in death by his adopted parents and his birth parents.
Visitation 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 at New Life
Baptist Church with Funeral Service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Adam Jaquez
officiating. Burial to follow at Guadalupe Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to New Life Baptist Church.
