James Earl Wolf III (Jimmy), 79, of Yorktown, passed away Friday, December 29th, 2023. He was born on April 2nd, 1944 to James E. Wolf Jr. and Glenna Parker Wolf in Cuero, Texas.
Jimmy was the scion of two pioneering South Texas families and proudly carried on their legacies. Jimmy worked at his family’s grocery store, Wolf Supermarket, in the early stages of his life before transitioning to a career as a realtor. Jimmy’s grandfather, Jim Parker, instilled in him his love of the land, which inspired him to become a real estate broker, successful developer, and businessman. Jimmy started his brokerage in Yorktown, Wolf Real Estate which has achieved great success.
Jimmy’s generosity to the community through various donations to organizations was well known amongst the community.
Jimmy Wolf is survived by his loving wife, Judy Wolf, sons Travis and Justin Wolf, daughter Melissa (Chris) Hosinski, and granddaughter, Maylee Hosinski. He is also survived by his brother, Scott Wolf, and sisters Barbara Hale and Mary Ann Calderon, his best friend, Don Simecek, as well as his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. Wolf Jr. and Glenna Parker Wolf.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Massey Funeral Home.
