Jennie Bell Jefferies entered into rest at the age of 83 on Wednesday, June 1. She was born in Cuero on November 11, 1938, to the late Booker T. Thomas and Jessie Stewart Thomas.
She is survived by her son, Deandre Kindles; daughters, Sallie Nobles and Cynthia Millett; her brother, Walter Thomas and wife Margaret and her sister, Vivian Payne. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Jarred A. Kindles, Jaylin A. Kindles and Kianna L. Kindles.
In addition to her parents, Jenny Bell is preceded in death by her brothers, Booker Thomas Jr. and James Thomas and her sisters, Bessie Mae Franklin, Earline Hopkins and Hazel Hopkins.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, June 11, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a chapel service beginning at 11 a.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel, Victoria, with Rev. L.G. Roy II officiating.
