Lucille “Lucy” Ramirez Oehler

Lucille “Lucy” Ramirez Oehler, Age 89 passed away surrounded by family on August 28, 2023. Lucy was born on July 02, 1934 in Cuero, Texas to Margarito and Filomena Tejeda Ramirez and raised in Yorktown, Texas.

Lucille married James “Jim” E. Oehler in 1955 and were married sixty-eight years. He served in the United States Air Force as Staff Sergeant and fought in the Korean and Vietnam war. Jim passed away on September 08, 2022.

Jim and Lucy are survived by four beautiful daughters: Brenda Wright, Susan Tryon, and twins, Lisa Moss and Laura Oehler. Grandchildren: Kelsey and Kylie Moss, Sloane and Brent Hovan. Lucy enjoyed chatting with her sisters: Stella Shaw, Jayne Johnson, and Margaret Rehem on the telephone and keeping in touch with her thirteen nieces and nephews and four grandchildren.

Lucy and Jim were devoted to their children, friends and family and have now reunited in heaven for eternity. Jim and Lucy will be laid to rest at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas later this year.
