Nancy Lynn Zielonka Kahanek

Yorktown, Nancy Lynn Zielonka Kahanek, born September 28, 1955 passed away September 07, 2023. She was born in Cuero, Texas, to Emil Zielon ka and Joyce DeDear Zielonka Hesse. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grand-parents and daughter Kyndil Kahanek.

Nancy is survived by her son Joshua Kahanek, daughter Sommer Kahanek, grand-daughter Meghann (Meggie) Kahanek, brother Al vin Zielonka, sisters Gayla Lassmann, Ann Laster, Shelley Zielon ka, D’Ree Zielonka, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Nancy worked as a private duty Licensed Vocational Nurse for years. Nancy had a passion for canning fruits and vegetables, making Kombucha and wine, working in her garden, gathering eggs from her chickens to give to family and friends, sitting on her porch watching the deer and watching survival videos. She will be missed. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to a local food bank or children’s hospital in her name.
