Robert Matthew Garza (Matt)

Robert Matthew Garza( Matt), age 53 of Cuero, Tx went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 4, 2023. He was born in Cuero, Tx on July 5, 1970 to Robert and Martha Garza. Matthew was a loving, caring, kind, strong, and brave son, brother, father, and grandfather, who was there when we needed him. He was also a devoted and caring nurse/traveling nurse for 20 years at Yoakum Hospital. Matthew will be greatly missed by all who knew his beautiful smile. He loved playing music and cooking for his family. Matthew is survived by his mother Martha Garza, sister Tammy Garza of Cuero, Tx, brother Brian (Stephanie) Garza of Longview, Tx, and daughter’s Jamie Garza of Victoria, Tx and Amber Garza of Cuero,tx and grandson Kaison Garza of Victoria,tx. In addition to his niece Stephanie Heil and nephew Moses Rodriguez (Garza), of Cuero Tx, and numerous cousins and many other special family members and friends. Matt is preceded in death by his father Robert Garza and sister Nancy Garza(Heil) Also, on behalf of Matthew's family, they extend their sincere gratitude to those with hospice of South Texas nurses and doctors that attended to him.
