Timothea ‘Timmie’ Ortiz

Timothea ‘Timmie’ Ortiz, 82, of Cuero formerly of Yorktown passed away Monday, March 27, 2023. She was born December 27, 1940 in Yorktown to Victor and Inez Ramirez Ortiz. She attended Yorktown schools and worked as a CNA and medication aide at Yorktown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center over forty years. Timmie enjoyed cooking and going shopping. She also enjoyed being surrounded by her siblings, nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She is survived by her sisters, Marie (Ervin) Survant, Connie (Leonard) Aitkens, Yolanda (Jerry) Cervantes, Alice (John) Aoueille; her brothers, Richard (Jackie) Ortiz and Michael Ortiz; her niece, Katie (Kirby) Brandt her nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lupe ‘Wally’ Ortiz, Gilbert Ortiz and Ray Allen Ortiz.

Services will be held privately at a later date.
