Vincent Harrison Peyton, 79, of Sugarland passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23. He was born Aug. 1, 1942, in Rockville Centre, New York to James and Frances Lempa Peyton. Vincent proudly served in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1968. He served in DaNang, Vietnam from 1965 to 1968. He married Lillie Mae Michalec on Nov. 15, 1969, in Moulton. Vincent worked for M.W. Kellogg as a cost analyst in Houston for over twenty-five years. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugarland. He enjoyed riding his Harley, being an artist, scuba diving and flying airplanes. He especially cherished the time spent target shooting with his grandson, Billy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lillie Mae; daughter, Ann (Bill) Holmes of Sugarland, Laura (Kevin) Baack of Galveston; sister, Mary Peyton McCurdy of Cuero; brothers, Patrick Peyton of Yorktown and grandson, Billy Holmes of Sugarland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Frances Peyton; brother, James J. Peyton II; sister-in-law, Beatrice Peyton and brother-in-law, Bob McCurdy.
