Ynocencio Garcia

Ynocencio “Chencho” Garcia, loving husband, father, grandpa, and pappy, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was born December 28, 1942, in Yorktown to the late Frederico and Amalia Garcia.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carmen V. Garcia; daughter Diana (Jimmy) Henneke; granddaughters, Brandie (Ethan) Hinderliter, Brittany (Stephen) Larabee, Brooke (Jordan) Weise; great-grandchildren, Eden Hinderliter, Ellie and Rylie Larabee, Weston and Wyatt Weise; brother, Ysrael Garcia.

Chencho was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Elisa Arguelles, Leonides Garcia, Amador Garcia, and Guadalupe Salinas.

He was a big family man and enjoyed spending time with his girls and great grandkids. He loved working so much that he came out of retirement to continue working with the County. He loved serving the community and was always quick to help when asked.

A visitation was held September 7, 2023, Finch Funeral Chapel with the reciting of the Rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass was 10:00am September 8, 2023, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Roger Hawes officiating. Interment followed at the Westside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ethan Hinderliter, Stephen Larabee, Jordan Weise, Franklyn Warwas, James Campbell, and Justin Rogers. Honorary Pallbearers were; David Norrell, James Kaiser, Danny Arguelles, and Gus Arguelles.
