Lillie Mae McElroy, 79, of Cuero passed away Friday, September 29, 2023. She was born October 12, 1943 in Cuero to Eugene and Elsie Baer Phillips. She loved to bake and cook for loved ones. She enjoyed going to estate sales and having friends in her home. Her passion was being able to give to people.

Paul Mark Vahalik, beloved husband of Barbara Dlugosch Vahalik, entered eternal rest on September 24, 2023. They shared 49 wonderful years of marriage, creating a lifetime of cherished memories. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Paul was not only a pillar of strength for his family but also a beacon of love and support.

Barbara C. Mobley, 82, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023. She was born December 6, 1940 in Hornersville, MO to Joseph and Kitty Adkins Cleveland. She married Allen Mobley on October 6, 1961. She worked as an Insurance Clerk at Cuero Medical Clinic for many years. She enjoyed gardening, singing and she loved animals.

Yorktown, Nancy Lynn Zielonka Kahanek, born September 28, 1955 passed away September 07, 2023. She was born in Cuero, Texas, to Emil Zielon ka and Joyce DeDear Zielonka Hesse. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grand-parents and daughter Kyndil Kahanek.

Anna Louise Sinast Borth was born in Yorktown Texas on February 14th, 1932, to Werner and Alfreda Sauermilch Sinast. She was the oldest of five children. In 1939 she met the boy who would later become the love of her life, when Warner Lee Borth moved with his family from Weesatche to Yorktown. They were in fourth grade and would continue and finish out their school years together. They started dating in their senior year and graduated from Yorktown High School in 1950. Anna and Warner married on April 19, 1953, at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Barbara Ann Ender Chandler, 85, of Yorktown, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She was born to Eddie and Olga Kubala Ender on September 21, 1937 in De-Witt County.

Lucille “Lucy” Ramirez Oehler, Age 89 passed away surrounded by family on August 28, 2023. Lucy was born on July 02, 1934 in Cuero, Texas to Margarito and Filomena Tejeda Ramirez and raised in Yorktown, Texas.

Mary Elizabeth Ladner age 82 of Falmouth, Massachusetts passed away on Friday September 01, 2023 at her home. She was surrounded by all family members when she passed.

Vivian “Tootsie” (Jarzombek) Murphy, 90 of Victoria, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was born November 2, 1932, in Poth, Texas to the late Frank and Celia Snoga Jarzombek. She was a graduate of Nordheim High School and then received her bachelor’s degree from Our Lady of the Lakes, specializing in Elementary Education. She married Paul James Murphy in France on June 29, 1963.
