Cuero ISD students compete in Victoria Special Olympic Relays

Fourteen Cuero ISD Special Olympics athletes competed at the Victoria Special Olympics Relays on Friday, March 29. T

he results are:

Samuel Barrera – Gold medal in 50m dash; Silver medal in shotput

Serenity Bermea – 4th place in softball throw; 5th place in 50m dash

Jonathan Cuellar – 4th place in 50m dash and softball throw

Joanna Delgado – 4th place in 50m dash; 5th place in softball throw

Aleashia Enriquez – Bronze medal in 50m dash; 4th place in softball throw

Kellis Jackson – Gold medals in 50m dash and softball throw

Darius Lankford – 4th place in softball throw; 5th place in 50m dash

Tae’Sean McKaine – Silver medal in tennis ball throw; 6th place in 50m dash

Jose Moreno – 4th place in tennis ball throw

Kaitlyn Nation – Gold medal in 50m walk; Bronze medal in softball throw

Carson Ridyolph – Bronze medal in shot put; 6th place in 50m dash

Destiny Rocha – Bronze medal in softball throw; Silver medal in 50m dash

Braylon Williams – Gold Medal in softball throw; Bronze medal in 50m dash

Andrew Young – Bronze medal in tennis ball throw

This year, there were two 4x100m relay teams. Each team won the Bronze medal for their efforts. The female team members were Joanna Delgado, Aleashia Enriquez, Kellis Jackson and Destiny Rocha. The male team members were Samuel Barrera, Jonathan Cuellar, Carson Ridyolph and Braylon Williams.
