Scoring was tough to come by most, as the Yorktown Kitty Kats closed out their regular season last Tuesday night. Port Aransas led 12-8 midway through the second quarter, but Yorktown finished the half on a 10-0 and only allowed 10 points the rest of the game to earn the win, 37-22. With that win, Yorktown not only finished district without a loss but went 21-0 through the entire regular season.
As coach Val Acree noted after the game, it’s defense that they hang their hat on and what led them again on this night.
